“7 But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The Lord does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.” 1 Samuel 16:7 (NIV)
I don't know if you knew this or not. Maybe you just needed a reminder today? You are precious to God. Joy is your portion! Your heart will begin to overflow with unending joy that comes from your Heavenly Father. Smile! God is working everything for your good and His glory.
“28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” Romans 8:28 (NIV)
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, You are working everything for my good and Your glory. Lord, joy is my portion! Thank You for filling my heart with Thine unending joy! In Jesus Name, Amen.
