Speak Those Things That Are Not As Though They Were

7 These have come so that the proven genuineness of your faith—of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire—may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed. 8 Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, 9 for you are receiving the end result of your faith, the salvation of your souls. 1 Peter 1:7-9 (NIV)
It takes faith to believe that God exists. We have not seen Him in the physical realm, but we have seen Him in the spiritual realm. The reason I said physical realm is because we haven’t reached Eternity yet where we see Jesus face to face. We’ve seen in the spiritual aspect where He moves Heaven and Earth and responds to our faith in providing miracles.
28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28 (NIV)
When we present our requests to God in faith even before we see it in the physical realm?
17 As it is written: “I have made you a father of many nations.” He is our father in the sight of God, in whom he believed—the God who gives life to the dead and calls into being things that were not. Romans 4:17 (NIV)
We claim in the mighty name of Jesus everything our hearts desire. Rather it’s healing, miracles, restoration, deliverance, salvation, etc. God answers our prayers according to His will. It isn’t always easy while we’re waiting on the Lord to deliver His promise. We seek His will and trust that His ways are higher than ours.
9 “As the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are my ways higher than your ways
and my thoughts than your thoughts.”
Isaiah 55:9 (NIV)
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, Your ways are higher than our ways. Lord, we trust in You and seek Thy will now and forevermore. You are the God of the promise. You work all things together for our good. In Jesus Name, Amen.
