The Trumpet Will Sound in the Twinkling of an Eye

“I declare to you, brothers and sisters, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable. Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed— in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.” 1 Corinthians 15:50-52 (NIV)

God promises in His Word to be with us until the end of time. The Holy Spirit lives inside of us! We as Christians know for certain that Eternity outlasts this world. Jesus is going to return in a flash. He is our consuming fire! Believers will live forever in Heaven with the King of Kings.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, We live for You! Lord, You reign on the Throne of Eternity forever. May Thy will be done on Earth through Your willing vessels? In Jesus Name, Amen.
