Hallelujah Anyhow (Praising God Through Your Struggles)

James 1:2-5 (NIV)

"2 Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3 because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.

4 Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. 5 If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.”

Jesus loves hearing us sing praises of hallelujah to Him not only at Christmas time, but 365 days of the year! It’s when we lift our eyes to our Savior that we view our circumstances through a different lens. When we look at situations through the eyes of Jesus? Our joyful hearts start overflowing with praise. We worship God through all of it!

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, We praise You through our struggles every time we say, ‘Hallelujah Anyhow!’ Lord, You remind us to sing songs of worship to You through whatever we're facing that day. Our hearts rejoice at the mention of Your name ‘Jesus!’ In Jesus Name, Amen.
