Jesus Invites Us to Return to The Soil (Growth Happens While We Wait)

24 When a farmer plows for planting, does he plow continually? Does he keep on breaking up and working the soil? Isaiah 28:24 (NIV)

Jesus invites us to return to the soil. He does His deepest work in the soil of our hearts. Jesus grows us as we face the days when the rain feels as though it won't let up. The rain will stop one day. Remember, the sun always shines again. One day we will see God’s beautiful plan on the horizon.

26 He also said, “This is what the kingdom of God is like. A man scatters seed on the ground. 27 Night and day, whether he sleeps or gets up, the seed sprouts and grows, though he does not know how. 28 All by itself the soil produces grain—first the stalk, then the head, then the full kernel in the head. 29 As soon as the grain is ripe, he puts the sickle to it, because the harvest has come.”

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, We know that the sun always shines again. Lord, You are working in us. One day we will see Your beautiful plan on the horizon. In Jesus Name, Amen.
