The Strength to Stand

"'8 Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me. 9 But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me." 2 Corinthians 12:8-9 (NIV)

The Word of God strengthens us spiritually! Our hearts are renewed every time we study it. We exercise our spiritual muscles by plugging into the power of God’s Word. Our energy levels increase to 100%. Joy arises within our hearts as we study scripture! We are recharged to fulfill the role that God created us for. He gives you and I the strength to stand!

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, Joy arises within our hearts as we study scripture! Lord, we exercise our spiritual muscles by plugging into the power of Thy Word. Our strength is renewed every day as we're deeply rooted in Your Word! In Jesus Name, Amen.
